On January 8, 2020, Christopher M. Brown, a Media wills and estates lawyer at Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, P.C., spoke to a small group of real estate investors and professionals in a one-hour video conference regarding estate planning and administration as it relates to real estate transactions. Chris spoke for the first half hour on the importance of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living will health care powers of attorney, with emphasis on how these are relevant to the real estate profession. Chris answered and discussed participants’ questions for the remaining half hour.
The video conference was held in the evening to allow participants to engage with Chris without missing work, and the remote nature of the conference allowed everyone to use their cell phones and laptops to participate without having to leave their homes. Participants found the conference both informative and convenient, and it came at no cost to the participants.
